SHORT BIO

Sriram Mosali is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Institute for Sustainable and Circular Economy and the Department of Chemical Engineering at Texas Tech University. He joined CETI-LAB in August 2026. At CETI-LAB, his research focuses on developing electrochemical approaches for converting NOx emissions into fertilizer products, with an emphasis on integrating electrocatalytic conversion with practical chemical manufacturing and resource-recovery strategies. Dr. Mosali received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Monash University, Australia, where his research focused on controlling product selectivity during electrochemical CO2 reduction through catalyst and alloy design.

His broader research expertise lies at the intersection of electrocatalysis, materials chemistry, and electrochemical engineering, including nanostructured catalyst design, reaction mechanisms and product selectivity, and structure–property–performance relationships in electrochemical systems. His research is driven by the broader goal of using electrochemistry to transform waste and low-value feedstocks into useful chemicals and products.
