SHORT BIO
Dr. Evandi Rahman is Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Chemical Engineering and the Institute for Sustainability and Circular Economy at Texas Tech University, where he joined Prof. Gerri’s group in October 2025. He earned his Ph.D degree in Environmental Engineering from Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) focusing on the development of electrochemical cells for nitrogen-rich wastewater treatment.

At Texas Tech, he will explore advanced electrochemical technologies for environmental and energy applications, including the electrochemical degradation of PFAS, generation of volatile fatty acid (VFA), and production of methane (CH4) from waste activated sludge (WAS).
