OVERVIEW

The goal of this project is to leverage electrochemical and thermocatalytic processes to convert biomass into furfural, hydrogen, and other high-value chemicals.

We are interested in the investigation of the mechanism of the reactions, integrating different types of biomass, engineering advanced electrocatalysts, and designing hybrid electro/thermal reactors.
